Some bloggers are posting look-backs to 2004 while others, in dogged determination, post their new resolutions for the coming year. For me, 2004 was a year to forget in many ways, yet it will forever mark the year of a profound shift in my thinking and a wake-up call about how I was living (or not living) my life. Seminal events such as one’s body dangerously betraying them will do that to a soul.
